Ingredients

  • 2 bananas
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Optional Toppings

  • caramel sauce
  • vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  • Start by preheating the air fryer to 350°F for 5 minutes.
  • Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and set aside.
  • Peel the bananas and slice them in half lengthwise. Then brush the bananas with melted butter and sprinkle with the brown sugar mixture. You can gently press the brown sugar onto the bananas to help it stick.
  • After the air fryer has preheated, line it with parchment paper, and then lay the bananas in the basket in a single layer.
  • Place the basket in the air fryer, set it to 350°F and cook for 7 minutes. After 7 minutes check the bananas, add another minute or two if the bananas are not soft enough for you or the sugar isn't fully melted.
  • Remove the bananas from the air fryer by lifting them out on the parchment paper.
  • Slide the bananas onto plates, top with desired toppings, and serve.

Notes

DO NOT preheat the air fryer with parchment paper in the basket.
If your bananas are on the softer side, or a bit overripe, start with less cooking time and add more as needed.
