Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops ¾-1 inch thick
  • 2 Tbsps olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt or coarse sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon fresh ground pepper

Instructions

  • Pre-heat the air fryer at 400°F for 5 minutes.
  • While the air fryer is pre-heating, drizzle or brush the oil on both sides of the pork chops.
  • Mix the sugar, spices, salt and pepper in a small bowl and sprinkle on both sides of the pork chops.
  • Place the pork chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer and return the basket to the fryer.
  • Set to 400°F for 8 minutes.
  • Half way through flip the pork chops.
  • When the timer completes remove the pork chops from the air fryer and place on a plate. The pork chops should read a temperature of 145°F if tested with a meat thermometer. If they aren't quite done you can add another minute or two. Cover with foil and let rest 5-10 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and serve.
  • You can save any of the juices that have run out while resting to serve on the side.
